Crayola Summer Fun #Giveaway!

It's that time of year, most of us will travel somewhere this Summer and if you have little ones you know it can be hard to keep them entertained and happy. Crayola has got you covered, with several great travel friendly activities, along with being travel friendly they are mess free! You don't have to worry about finding marker drawings on the seats or doors with Crayola Color Wonder Markers and Paints.

My son was sent some awesome goodies from Crayola and MyBlogSpark to try out. Here's what we got to try out:
  • Crayola Color Wonder On the Go Tiny Tubes: This is great little tube of pictures to color. There are crayons stored in the center of the tube, which is great and super convenient.

  • Color Wonder Coloring Pad: This was a Hot Wheels coloring pad with metallic paper that is made shiny with the Crayola Color Wonder Markers. Prior to this I had never seen metallic paper before. Consider my mind blown....haha.

  • Color Wonder Barbie Mini Coloring Pad and Markers: Just like the regular Color Wonder Drawing Pad sets but in Mini form. These are small enough to fit in your purse or diaper bag, and can be pulled out anytime you are waiting and need something for your child to do. Think restaurant or Dr.s office. These would also make great party favors.
  • Color Wonder Drawing Pad and Markers: Great mess free markers that only color on Crayola Color Wonder paper.

  • Dry Erase Travel Pack: This was another item that was completely new to me. Dry Erase Crayons! A great little mini folder that holds 4 dry erase crayons, a crayon sharpener, a clear dry erase board and activity papers that you can put underneath the board and switch out, as well as a cloth to wipe your board clean.

  • Dry Erase Zany Play: Traditional Dry Erase board with markers and eraser attached, as well as several designs, and games that can be put underneath the clear dry erase board and switched out as you please. Our found a home in the passenger seat pocket in front of my sons booster seat.
  • Princess and the Frog Mess Free Color Wonder Activity Sets: Great set of Color Wonder Paints, and Markers with a Color Wonder Coloring Pad.
Check out other great Crayola products and fun activities on their website: Crayola.com
We have been having a lot of fun with all these Crayola activities, and you can too! Crayola is giving away a prize pack that includes all the same items we received!

Mombo Nursing Pillow from Comfort and Harmony Review

"Comfort & Harmony's mombo is everything you'll need in a nursing pillow and much more! The Firm2SoftTM, 2-Sided construction, is uniquely designed to offer distinct benefits on each side. The firm side offers enhanced back support during nursing and just the right elevation for baby. the soft side creates the perfect environment for lounging. The optional vibration helps soothe baby. Use the vibration anytime throughout the day."

When I was nursing my newborn son 3 years ago, I found positioning him into the correct positions for feeding was really difficult. He was a big baby and I struggled a lot with positioning during feedings. I wish that the Mombo from Comfort and Harmony would have been around. It would have been a great help and I would have probably continued to breast feed rather than switching to formula. When I was offered a review for the Mombo I was really excited because I knew someone whom was about to have a baby and was really wanting a nursing pillow. So what does she think of the Mombo?

She loves it. She brought it to the hospital to start using it right away. The firm side helps position baby for comfortable feedings, and she says that Baby seems to be very comfortable in the Mombo as well. Baby is only 3 1/2 weeks so she hasn't yet gotten to using the softer side for lounging and tummy time yet.  Here only complaint is that as a plus size woman the Mombo doesn't fit around her in the way that it should. The Slipcover makes washing it a breeze and of course there are several slipcovers to choose from that suit any style.

Interested in purchasing the Mombo Nursing Pillow? Mombo is $25.49 and sold exclusively at BabiesRus and ToysRus. Slipcovers are sold separately and vary in price from $11 to $22.

*I was sent a sample Mombo for the purposes of this review. I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own and 100% honest*

I’m always looking for ways to incorporate fun into learning for my 3 year old. So when I learned about Babbabox, I knew I had to try it.  What is it, you ask?

I first took our Babbabox aside to take pictures for this blog post. Then I sat my son down and let him open the box. I really wish that I would have recorded his reaction to opening the Babbabox because his excitement over everything in the box was awesome and extremely infectious. The first thing he wanted to do was pull out the camera and take pictures. At 3 his ability to get anything in frame is lacking but with a little help he was able to figure it out.  Then it was on to Creating our Serving Tray. What child doesn’t get excited about painting something, especially when it includes getting to paint their hands? We had such a great time! TOGETHER!

We haven’t gotten to the other activities but I know my son is going to love them.  I really appreciate that not only is he learning but the activities are really thought out and engaging. He may not realize that he is learning but he is. That being said I’m not sure how much he is learning about “Gratitude” from the activities but I know that they are made to improve cognitive skills. He will definitely learn something about Giving Thanks from the book that was included.  I like that all the Create items are going to make really great keepsakes.

There are a few options when subscribing. You can subscribe monthly which is $29.99 a month, Annually which is $299.99(2 Free Boxes), And Babbabox is currently offering The Summer Survival Pack which is $89.97 for the first 3 months and $29.99 after that. Costumes Discounters Review

Oh Halloween, my absolute favorite holiday. I absolutely love everything about it. The colors, the pumpkins, the weather and of course the costumes. What I don't love about Halloween...the obscene price of poorly made costumes I was getting from our local party store. I hate spending so much money on costumes that have uneven seams, hanging strings, and just poor quality all together.  Before I found Costume Discounter I was seriously stressed out about the price of costumes. Well, guess what? We found officially licensed Transformers costumes for only $29.97 licensed by both Hasbro and Paramount. We spent a good deal of time(longer than I wanted to) deciding whether Chase was going to be Optimus Prime or Bumblebee, and by we I mean Chase did and I tried to help him make up his mind. LOL. In the end he finally chose Optimus Prime. It took about a week to get here, and oh was Chase excited when it arrived. He wanted to try it on right away, and it has been a pain to keep him out of it. I love the stuffed muscles, they are so cute and he loves it. I also spotted a lot of costumes that I would love, and with great prices I think Mommy is going to dress up this year too, and now I am in Chase's position spending a lot of time trying to narrow down a costume from the huge selection Costumes Discounters has. I definitely suggest checking out http://www.costumediscounters.com/. I am so impressed.

*I was sent this costume for review purposes from Costume Discounters. I was not paid for this review. All opinions are my own.*
