BlushBox has teamed up with Susan G. Komen® Austin to raise funds and education for local breast cancer awareness and support. Throughout the month of October, the sexy subscription service will offer its customers a “Pretty in Pink” box that is filled with a specially curated collection of pink-themed surprises to indulge the sexy side of life.
According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, one in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. BlushBox is proud to help make a positive impact on those who are fighting breast cancer by partnering with Komen Austin, who raises money to provide breast cancer screening, education and medical services as well as financial and emotional support in Central Texas. 25 percent of proceeds from each Pretty in Pink box will be donated directly to Komen Austin.
The Pretty in Pink collection was inspired by a few breast cancer Sexy Survivors who not only contributed to the curation of the box, but also contributed their thoughts on what makes them feel sexy.
“Having breast cancer taught me a lot of things about myself, but the one that stuck the most was to never forget that despite it all, I’m still classy, sassy, and sexy,” said one survivor. Another survivor said, “It is amazing the strength we find when we dig deep and trust in ourselves.”
