So it's been quite a while since I last posted! I've been a busy little bee. I've really gotten into the coupon thing and I'm actually really enjoying it. I haven't gone out to use my coupons yet as I'm waiting for this Sunday's paper so within the next few days I will update with my shopping trip.
I've started a new BzzCampaign for TRESemme Color Revitalize Shampoo and Conditioner which couldn't have come at a better time as I should be receiving my coupon for a free box of John Frieda Color Foam and the TRESemme shampoo and condtioner at the same time. So, I'll truly be able to tell you how well the TRESemme Shampoo and Conditioner works. I really am loving being a BzzAgent and getting the opportunity to try and review products for free. It's also turning me on to products that I may have never tried before! Love it. If you are interested in becoming a BzzAgent please click the link on the right side of this blog. :)

Children's Claritin 24 Hour
I am a BzzAgent and I received Children's Claritin 24 hour for free to review. Before receiving the Claritin I had been using Benadryl to try and relieve the symptoms of my two year olds allergies. The Benadryl was not working, he still had a VERY runny nose. His poor little nose was red and raw. He was not himself, cranky and he wanted to sleep most of the day. Within an hour of taking Children's Claritin my son was back outside playing and running around like his normal self. And just a couple days later his little nose was healed. Now when I notice that my son's allergies are acting up I reach for Children's Claritin. My only complaint has been that it only comes in grape flavored, which my son is not to crazy about, so it is a bit of a chore to get him to take it. Worth the chore though. I have since reccomended it to my family.

Extreme Couponing
I recently saw a commercial for a TV show on TLC entitled Extreme Couponing. I did not catch the first episode but I do plan on watching the next one. In the preview someone had bought $600 in groceries and only paid $6! OMG! I wanna know how you do this! No, I don't want to know. I NEED to know! LOL. Here is what I saw.

Diamond Candles!!!!
This post is a little late. I got my Diamond Candles this past week.I received them about a week after I placed my order. I'm very impressed with the candles themselves. They come in a very nice, thick glass container. I ordered the Dusk and the Sunwashed. Both smell amazing! The Dusk is kind of a softer mens cologne smell, kinda like mens cologne mixed with baby powder, and the Sunwashed literally smells like fresh clothes right out of the dryer. I knew going in that there was a very good chance that I would not get a Diamond, but I was still slightly disappointed. This doesn't stop me from wanting more though. I love candles and lite them around my house everyday. The quality of these candles is very good, so a candle worth buying without the Diamond. But!, this is why they are my new obsession they are great candles but with an extra surprise inside. I've seen it written many times on both their Facebook page and their website by many different women. "It's like Cracker Jacks for big girls!" My next choices in candles are Apple Slice and Lemon Lavender. They have also stated that they will be releasing new scents in time for Mother's Day! One of which has been revealed as Cupcake. Awesome cause that happens to be one of my favorite candle scents. Alright here are the links to their pages. Go check em' out!

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and NaturLuxe Lip Balm
'm a BzzAgent and I received my Covergirl NatureLuxe foundation and lip balm samples about three days ago. I do very much like this foundation, it has a lightweight feel and it smells really great and fresh. I had one problem with it and that was that there is no powder in the NatureLuxe line of products and as a woman with oily skin I like to use powder so I used my regular Covergirl translucent powder which I think kinda defeats the whole purpose of using lightweight natural ingredients if I'm just going to put a regular powder on top. So my only wish is that they would come out with a natural powder to go along with it. I'd also like to add that it is really lightweight which is going to be great for summer as I live in a very hot area. Overall I like this product and I can see myself using it regularly. As for the lip balm it added a light tint and did a great job at moisturizing my lips and keeping them moisturized for a couple hours. I however am not a fan of balms and prefer more color. I would recommend the balm for those who like tinted balms though. Good products.

Boredom and "Plum" Velvet Cupcakes....
My "plum" colored batter |
First time using a piping bag as well. |
So yesterday was a cold and rainy day. Since there was no going outside, I decided to attempt my first cupcakes from scratch. I chose a Red Velvet Cupcake recipe from Paula Deen and The Food Network. All in all they turned out well, except for the fact that somewhere between the grocery store check out and home I managed to lose the red food coloring! So I tried to make red with the neon spring food coloring I already had at home. With not enough pink food coloring I ended up with a plum colored batter. LOL. They were delicious. I managed to get most of the ingredients, the pans, the cupcake wrappers, and piping bag and nozzles from the 99 Cent Store. Yay! I love a good deal.
Here is the link to the recipe I used: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/red-velvet-cupcakes-with-cream-cheese-frosting-recipe/index.html

What's Happening Now
So, I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my Diamond Candles. I ordered two, a Dusk and a Sunwashed scent. I'm so excited about there arrival. I'm expected to receive them on Tuesday. For those of you whom are not familiar with Diamond Candles here's their explanation: "There is a ring worth $10, $100, $1,000, or $5,000 in every earth friendly, all natural soy candle we make." Yay! I will post plenty of pics when I get them.
