I may have to retract my previous statement about the Laura Geller Blush being my favorite product from my June Birchbox. I have been searching for YEARS to find a lotion that doesn't feel too heavy but still hydrates and moisturizes the way it is supposed to. I have been using Palmer's Cocoa and Shea Butter lotions for several years but stop using it during the summer as I live in the California Valley and it tends to get really hot and humid, so a heavy lotion just makes that horrible sticky feeling that much worse. I have found the answer to my long quest and it is the Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra Comfortable Body Cream. It is so light weight and yet it makes my skin so soft and it smells amazing. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! My only gripe and its a big one(at least for me) the price....$35 for 150 ml. EEK! So, my plan is to get some Birchbox points saved up to help cut the high cost of this lotion because it is just that good.
Here is what Birchbox had to say about it:
"Nuxe’s nourishing formula works in three steps: First honey liposomes and antioxidant-rich wild fruit oils hydrate skin. Next, macadamia oil soothes any irritations. Lastly, honey from fir trees (chosen for their resistance to harsh weather conditions) tones and restores, while chestnut extract renews cells to prevent further dryness."

Laura Geller Blush N' Brighten
I'm away from home on a short two week vacay, but still want to give a review a week on each of the products I recieved in my June Birchbox. I thought that I would start with the product that I have used the most. The Laura Geller Blush N' Brighten mine was in Como with a highlighter in Portofino. I love this product! It gives me a beautiful pink glow, the highlighter is great too but super shimmery. I have oily skin so. I don't like too much shimmer as it tends to make me look more shiny. This is a great blush for summer. I love it, BUT would not pay $29.95 for a blush that I could get for far cheaper from Physicians Formula. Glad mine was free, or depending on how you look at it $10 bucks. Next weeks product will be my second fave the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lotion. Thanks for reading. Until next time. June Birchbox 2011!!
So, this gorgeous pink box was waiting for me today after I finished putting my son down for a nap. I have been waiting somewhat impatiently since the 7th when I got the email that it shipped out. I have obsessively been watching nearly every single June Birchbox Youtube video since the 7th to see what everyone got. Now if your not familiar with Birchbox it is a monthly subscription (similar to a magazine) where you get 4 to 5 deluxe beauty samples shipped to you every month. There are couple options as to how you would like to be billed. The first and the one that I have chosen is to have my card automatically debited $10 once a month and you can cancel anytime. The second option is to pay for the full year, which is $110 in which they give you one months box for free. In which case you would continue to receive your boxes for the full year without the opt out opportunity, but you can transfer it so that someone else receives it. You also receive customer reward points for every box that you get. I believe it is 10 points a box and then once you get your box they ask they you review the products that were in your box for additional points. Every 100 reward points that you collect counts for $10.00 towards the purchase of a full size product from their site. Once you join they ask that you fill out your beauty questionnaire which asks you questions about your skin type, and beauty preferences. This way they can send you beauty samples that are relevant to you. OK, with all that info out of the way lets jump into what was in my June Birchbox!
I could not be happier with my first months box and I'm already looking forward to seeing what July's box has to offer! I got a full size Laura Geller product that retails for $29.50 and I only paid ten bucks for the box. Great fun, its like your birthday every month. Go check them out. https://www.birchbox.com/

StyleFind
As single mother I am always on the look out for great deals in beauty and fashion. As a BzzAgent I got offered this deal a while ago and as soon I saw that it was from Allure I didn't even look at the website, just assuming(wrongly) that it was way over my tight budget. BzzAgent sent me another email about it so I decided to head over and take a look. What did I find there? Clothes, Accessories, handbags and my favorite High end makeup at a price that I could afford. I highly recommend that you go check this out. Yes, it is what is called a "BzzScape" but I did/do not get anything for free in this. It was just recommend as a great find. A great find that I decided I had to share with my readers. So, what are you waiting for? Check it out! I have added an advertisement of theirs to the left hand side of my blog page.
